Helicóptero Aeroespatiale SA-319B Alouete III
A las 15:30 horas del día 18 de septiembre de 1992, el helicóptero Aeroespatiale SA-319B Alouete III regresaba a su base en el curso de una operación de transporte de patrullas contraincendios. En su ruta encontró una tormenta localizada sobre unas lomas y se metió en ella volando próximo al terreno. En esa zona el viento era de dirección variable con ráfagas de gran intensidad (hasta 409 Kts.), circunstancia que producía turbulencias muy fuertes en las laderas de las lomas. En estas condiciones, al sobrepasar la cima, el helicóptero probablemente se vio afectado por la turbulencia, ésta sorprendió al piloto y, sin tiempo para que éste reaccionara, el aparato se fue contra la ladera, sufriendo un impacto muy fuerte, el helicóptero rodó ladera abajo, sufrió una serie de impactos de distinta intensidad y finalmente se incendió, resultando totalmente destruido produciéndose la muerte de dos ocupantes y heridas a otros cinco.
At 15:30 hours on 18 September 1992, the helicopter Aeroespatiale Alouete IIISA-319B returned to their base in the course of a transport operation of fire patrols. En route encountered a storm located on some hills and it went flying near the ground. Inthis area the wind direction was variable with bursts of high intensity (up to 409 Kts.)circumstances that produced very heavy turbulence on the slopes of the hills. In these circumstances, above top, the helicopter was probably affected by the turbulence, itsurprised the pilot and with no time for it to react, the unit went into the side, having astrong impact, the helicopter rolled slope down, suffered a series of impacts of varying intensity and finally caught fire, completely destroyed resulting death occurring twooccupants and wounding five others.
